The Home & Garden Show at the Keystone Conference Center brings out the creativity and local talent around Breckenridge real estate and gives exhibitors a chance to showcase their products and services. If you are building, remodeling, landscaping, designing interiors, decorating, and/or furnishing, the expanding Home & Garden Show is a wonderful place to get acquainted with industry professionals and to get ideas for improving your Breckenridge real estate. A benefit Silent Auction rounds out the activities.
Hosted by the Summit County Builders Association, the exhibition includes about 70 booths including a special area for architects and builders of Breckenridge real estate and Summit County. The Summit County Builders Association is a non-profit organization consisting of over 160 members. Some participants are engaged in building or remodeling homes and/or developing land that is zoned for building. Others are in professions related to the home-building industry. So it is possible to meet a wide variety of people at the show including subcontractors, manufacturers, suppliers, title companies, realtors, mortgage companies, commercial bankers, and others in the service sector.
The diverse mixture of exhibitors includes galleries, home boutiques, designers, suppliers, landscapers, outdoor living furniture artisans, blacksmiths, cabinetmakers, countertop specialists, hot tub sellers, carpet and tile experts, and many more. And it’s fun to see what everyone else is doing. Meet other exhibitors and meet the people.
Parties interested in participating may contact the Builders Association. Those interested in becoming a sponsor may call (970) 668-6013. Banner space (36x60 inches) costs $100 for SCBA members and $150 for non-members. Booth space (8 foot high backdrop and 3 foot high side drape, 6 foot table with tablecloth and skirt, 2 chairs, and listing in program) is available in several sizes. Booths are available in 10x10, 15x10, and 20x10 with fees ranging from $275 to $675.
The “Builder’s Gallery” section for builders and architects is a little different. These spaces come with an 8-foot table, tablecloth, skirt, and 2 chairs for $200 to members and $275 for non-members. Costs may vary from year to year.
The 2007 Silent Auction benefited the Bristlecone Home Health Services and Hospice Care. Auction items like a Webber Grill to log benches brought in over $7,000 for the cause. Attendance varies depending on factors such as the weather, school schedules, and the like but those who come have a grand ole time.
