Free Bus Shuttle Around Breckenridge
By RealEstateColorado.com
One of the wonderful perks about owning Breckenridge real estate is that you can often times just park your shiny auto and still manage to get around—for free! The Summit Stage provides quality transportation to residents of Breckenridge as well as all other Summit County homeowners and visitors. Every 30-60 minutes, from early morning to late at night, seven days a week, 365 days a year, the friendly service sweeps through Breckenridge, Breckenridge North, Boreas Pass, Frisco, Copper Mountain, Silverthorne, Dillon, Keystone, Wildernest, and Summit Cove.
Whether your Breckenridge real estate is along French Street, Main Street, Wellington Road or near the Breckenridge Station on Watson Avenue, hopping a bus is a cinch. Ski-in or ski-out Breckenridge condos near Peak 8 or Peak 9 and the Summit Stage will cart you off to another ski resort while you’re still reading the morning paper. If you are heading from Breckenridge real estate to shop at the La Cima Mall or to an eatery, alight on Main Street. Even if you find a wooded Breckenridge estate up Boreas Pass Road, the handy Summit Stage will save you plenty of time and allow your growing family some independence getting around Summit County.
The bus heads up Illinois Gulch Road to Baldy Road, stopping at Rock Ridge, Gold Point, Emmit Lode and Club House Road at Boreas Pass. Then it heads back through picking up and dropping off people at the Lodge, Bluffs Silver Queen, Lucky and Wildflower.
Or, from the Breckenridge Station, the bus heads up Park Ave past City Market and up Airport Road past South Branch Library and Pinewood Village, to the Recreation Center and Kingdom Park. Then it heads over Valley Brook Rd to Main, turning east at the Breck Inn and serving Kenington Place, French Creek and Vista Point as it then circles Midnight Sun Road and the Willington neighborhoods.
As we mentioned, this wonderful service serves most ski areas, shopping centers, medical centers, and many of the residential areas. The buses have ski/snowboard racks in the winter and bike racks during the summer. What a great way to meet with new and old friends! What a great way to conserve energy! How convenient for children and youth who can get around without requiring the family to have lots of extra cars to insure.
For those with timelines, it is best to pick up a Summit Stage schedule. E-mail summitstage@co.summit.co.us for information.
